The invisible side
A building is a collection of materials, work hours, deliveries, design intentions, quality control, navigating the weather, deadlines, budgets, and the drama that comes with it. The site has its own logic, and the people on it know it. Tracking that work usually means spreadsheets, WhatsApp threads, dated plan versions, and a foreman holding the whole thing in his head.
This is the side that catches what can be caught. Crews, jobs, areas, materials, attendance — recorded the way the people doing the work actually work, on the phones they already carry, in the language they already use. The rest stays where it lives, in heads and conversations.
Construction work has no public face. There is no guest browsing a building site. But the work has more than one surface even so — the contractor's planning view and the crew's daily one — built for everyone who does the work, not only for the people who organize it.

El lado invisible
Un edificio es un conjunto de materiales, horas de trabajo, entregas, intenciones de diseño, control de calidad, el clima, plazos, presupuestos y el drama que viene con todo eso. La obra tiene su propia lógica, y la gente que está en ella la conoce. Darle seguimiento a ese trabajo suele significar hojas de cálculo, chats de WhatsApp, versiones de planos con fecha y un maestro de obras que lo lleva todo en la cabeza.
Este es el lado que recoge lo que se puede recoger. Cuadrillas, trabajos, áreas, materiales, asistencia, registrados como trabaja de verdad la gente que hace el trabajo: en los teléfonos que ya andan, en el idioma que ya usan. Lo demás se queda donde vive, en cabezas y conversaciones.
La construcción no tiene cara pública. Nadie anda de visita por una obra. Pero aun así el trabajo tiene más de una cara —la vista de planificación del contratista y la del día a día de la cuadrilla—, hechas para todos los que hacen el trabajo, no solo para quienes lo organizan.
