The invisible side

Water is finite. A watershed has its limits, an aquifer recharges only as fast as the rain allows, the forests that hold both are sensitive to what gets done upstream. A community-run water system isn't only about getting water to taps — it's about doing it without taking more than the land can keep giving. That asks for planning, not just plumbing.

This is the side that holds the plumbing and the planning together. Members, meters, payments, repairs, meeting minutes — kept in one place so the volunteers running the system can do it alongside their other lives. Area and sector overviews, water tracking, leak and outage reporting from the neighbours themselves. Studies, long-term plans — because what gets taken today decides what's left tomorrow.
